Mr. Oyegunle started his working career, in 1998, as an Applied Geophysicist with Mobil Producing Unlimited. While in Mobil Producing Unlimited and later, ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Company Subsidiary, he worked on many exploration, development and production projects, including but not limited to, Deep water channel complex, Energy dominated Shoreface environments and Regionally collapsed Structures from 1999 to 2010. In 2007, he worn the ExxonMobil Mentor Award and during his twelve year career in ExxonMobil he acquired “Expert” status in many proficiencies and skills in exploration, development, production and project economics. He drilled over 20 exploration and production wells and over 30 workovers individually and as a member of different team.
He also had a stint with GEC Petroleum Development Company (August 2011), as Geoscience Team Lead, where he re-evaluated one the company’s assets to gained an increment of 200% in resource volume. He later joined Globeroyal Energy, in August 2012, as Project Manager. He successfully completed many projects for SAPETRO, CHEVRON and a local company respectively in Mozambique Channel Basin, Fluvial Dominated part of Niger Delta and Congo Basin.
Mr. Oyegunle is a member of Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationist (NAPE), Committee of Mining and Exploration Geologist (COMEG). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Geophysics with two awards as best graduate in petroleum related courses and best graduating student in Geology Department, 1997.
